Pipe network type heptafluoropropane fire extinguishing system maintenance method

In order to keep the heptafluoropropane gas fire extinguishing system in a good state and to be put into use quickly when a fire occurs, regular inspections and periodic inspections and maintenance must be performed.

I. Routine inspections Routine inspections are performed by full-time or part-time personnel who have been specially trained by users. Routine inspections are conducted once a week. The main contents of the inspections are:

1. The cleaning condition in the storage container room is not allowed to have other sundries and affect the operation of the system. Avoid direct sunlight, and check whether the indoor temperature is between 0 ℃ ~ 50 ℃ in winter and summer.

2. Check the pressure gauge on the pneumatic start bottle set, the reading should be 4.0MPa ~ 5.0MPa. (Stuck the hexagonal nut behind the pressure gauge with a live wrench and rotate it counterclockwise. The pressure is displayed in the green area to indicate that the device is normal. Then lock the nut clockwise.)

3. Check the pressure gauge on the extinguishing agent storage bottle group. Friendly reminder: Do not bring open flames and smoked items into the fire protection area, otherwise it may cause flammable substances to burn or explode.

4. Check whether the various valves and pressure relief ports are intact, select whether the manual handle on the valve is in the "off" position, and that the various safety pins are intact without falling off.

5. Inspect the high pressure pipe fittings of the gas fire extinguishing system for looseness, collision and severe corrosion. 6. Check whether the passage in the protection zone is unobstructed, whether there are changes (new openings, structural changes, re-placement of different items from the design, etc.), the cleanliness of the fire detectors and sprinklers.

7. Check whether the various instructions of the fire alarm controller are normal and whether the standby power can be used reliably.

2. Periodic inspection and maintenance Periodic maintenance shall be carried out by a professional fire protection company, and at least once a year, the main contents of the inspection are:

1.Pneumatic start bottle set

a) Whether the number and installation of the pneumatic start bottle group meet the design requirements;

b) Whether the pressure gauge reading on the pneumatic start bottle group is in the normal range;

c) Whether the connection between the electric start valve and the fire alarm controller is correct, reliable and intact, and whether the terminals are loose or falling off.

d) Remove the solenoid valve from the pneumatic start bottle group, and check whether its action is accurate and flexible;

e) Check whether the start-up bottle has exceeded the service life. The start-up bottle shall be inspected every 5 years. It shall be carried out according to the standard of seamless steel gas cylinders.

f) Check the integrity of the high-pressure pipe fittings. There is no looseness in all connected parts. The loosened or damaged parts should be replaced. If necessary, an airtight test should be performed.

g) Check whether the starting bottle set is firmly fixed.

2.Fire-extinguishing agent bottle group

a) Check whether the number of fire-extinguishing agent storage bottle groups and the total amount of sevoflurane stored meet the design requirements;

b) Check whether the amount of fire extinguishing agent in each fire extinguishing agent storage bottle is consistent with the specified amount. If the non-conformity and the prescribed cause are checked, the cause must be checked and refilled after repairing.

c) Remove the starting chamber on the container valve and check its flexibility.

d) Check whether the safety vent is blocked;

e) Check whether the storage bottle of the fire extinguishing agent has exceeded the service life. The storage bottle should be inspected every 5 years and should be carried out according to the standard of seamless steel gas cylinders.

f) Check whether the connection between the fire extinguishing agent bottle group and the bottle rack is reliable.

3.High pressure pipe fittings and distribution system of gas fire extinguishing system

a) Check whether the diameter, layout and length of the pipeline are consistent with the design;

b) Inspect pipelines and pipeline accessories for deformation, damage and corrosion;

c) Check whether the installation position and direction of the safety valve, check valve and selector valve in the pipeline and the header are correct, and whether the connection with the pipeline is secure. Whether the pressure relief port of the safety valve is unblocked;

d) Pass 4.2Mpa of nitrogen into the header, check the sealing performance of the check valve and selection valve, and then turn the manual handle of the selection valve to the "on" position. The selection valve should be opened. The deflation indicator of the corresponding protection zone is on;

e) Check whether there is looseness, air leakage or blockage at all connection parts of the pipeline;

f) Check whether the pipe is fixed firmly.

4. Nozzle

a) Check whether the number of nozzles, nozzle diameter, and installation position meet the design requirements;

b) For local application systems, check whether the protection object is within the effective protection range of the nozzle;

c) Check whether the connection between the nozzle and the pipeline is loose or falling off;

d) Check whether the nozzle is unblocked and whether there is dust adhesion.
